Topics:

Humans should colonize Mars before 2050.

*In the United States, private ownership of handguns ought to be banned.

Genetically modified food does more good than harm.  

*Debated by all teams on both prop and opp during rounds 1 & 2.  

Prep Time: 

Per new MSPDP guidelines, electronic devices (i.e tablets and laptops) are now allowed during prep time.  Cases do not need to be printed.  HOWEVER, debaters should not access the internet during prep time. 

Schedule:

Registration: 8:00-8:30

Opening Remarks: 8:45

Round 1: 9:00

Round 2: 10:30

Lunch: 11:30

Round 3: 12:45

Round 4: 2:00

Awards: 3:30

Departure: 4:00

Entries:

GSDL: Each school may register 5 teams + 1 waitlist team. 

PCDL & LADL: Each school may register 3 teams + 1 waitlist team.

You will be notified on Thursday, January 25^th if space allows.

Registration deadline is Wednesday, January 24^TH AT 3PM.

Judges:

Each school must provide one full time judge per two teams. 

Food:

Lunch will be served at a price of $8 per person.   2 coaches per team are free.

PLEASE NOTE: In order to prevent major over ordering, each coach will be responsible for paying for the number of lunches they indicate during online registration.  Cash or check payable to Chaminade is due at regis
